: Miss Lai : Kenny Lee & Gladys Lo : Hello, Miss Lai. You have been teaching us since we're in Form one. What's your impression of our 5D's classmates? : 5D's students give me the impression that they are really hard-working and willing to learn. Their attitude towards learning is always good.: Is there any difference between our classmates when they were in form one?: When you are in form one, this school was rather new to you, so you were a bit unfamiliar with this environment. You needed time to adapt this environment and your potentiality might not be shown up yet. As time gone by, you are now F.5 students, most of you have mastered the learning skills and therefore, their progress can be seen on both learning and personality.: Do you think that we have got problems on studying?: Some of you are weak in one or two subjects. And some of you have attended quite a lot extra-curricular activities and post. They become very busy and tired to work on their homework. Also some of you have got some problems with their families which affect their study. But there's no problem on the whole.: We heard that you don't like Physics, why? : It can't say that I dislike it actually...I just found that it's very difficult for me to understand when comparing with the other subjects, like Chemistry and Biology, as most of the people like things that are easier. All we learn in Physics are related to our surroundings. In fact, I was interested in learning it, but I found difficulties in the exams. I think these affected my self- confidence in learning it.: And how how did you overcome this problem?: Are you talking about Physics? Umm...I don't know my method is useful or not. The first thing is that you can't refuse. If you know that you are weak in this subject, you should pay more effort on it. In that time, I paid more attention in the Physics lessons, did preparations before the lessons and did more exercises on Physics. Although I found that the textbooks were rather boring(may be because I didn't like it), I still force myself to be concentrated and went through it. I had to spend more time on it in order to overcome the difficulties, unless facing the problem, not to shirk the problem. I also bought more Physics exercise books. The one I bought for Physics were much more than the other subjects, like Economics. Because I got more confidence in those subjects. I just paid attention in lessons of those subjects and that's enough for me.: You like Mathematics, is it related to your capability in Mathematics?: I'm not really good at Maths in fact. I think my interest was developed because of my father. He was very good at Maths although he was not a teacher or something else. He told me that learning Mathematics was very important for us since we were little. I think his great speed in calculating also interested me to be keen on Mathematics. On the other hand, I had met some good Maths teachers when I was in primary and secondary school. They helped me to get the good result in Maths every time and I enjoyed the successful.: What're your wishes to our class?: That's all of your classmates can get into the university!!! Ha...ha...ha...And all the students can get a good result in HKCEE. On the self-cultivation, I wish you all can respect and take care of the others. I wish you all can learn to be well-behaved and more polite, since there're few problems with some of your classmates. I hope that will be improved soon.
